HOW TO BUY SOLAR LIGHTS

             Step 1

1. Decide where you'd like to add solar lighting. There are several considerations to keep in mind before you buy. Solar lights need ample sunlight to charge during the day, and work best at night when placed away from other lights and ambient light. There are all types of solar lighting options available from accent lights to lamp posts 
     
2. Step 2

   Place solar lights along dark walkways or close to landscaped plants and shrubs, or put up hanging solar lamps around the perimeter of the yard. There are even wall-mounted solar powered security light for dark corners, and decorative colored accent light to make your patio sparkle. Figure out what would best compliment your yard.

   Shop around for the right fit for your space.

   Wait a week after installation before you move the lights or return them. Solar lights usually need a few days of full sunlight before they work their best, and sometimes interference from other light sources affects the performance of your light. It may be as simple as moving them a few feet away from the back door or out from under a tree to get the most from your new solar lights. If they don't work for you, return them and buy another type of solar powered light until you find the right one for your needs.
